There are delays on the A256 Richborough Way after the Sevenscore roundabout due to a crash today (January 28).
The collision on the Sandwich-bound carriageway happened at 11.30am.
No injuries have been reported.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police received a report of a collision at 11.31am on Tuesday 28 January.
“Officers are attending the A256 at Cliffsend near Sandwich. No injuries have been reported.”
it would appear that area is becoming an accident black spot , but then when you see how people drive its no suprise , another point how often do you see a police car , traffic or other ?
The way people drive on this stretch of road is unreal. It’s apparently perfectly acceptable to hack up to a roundabout in the left hand lane and then turn right, cutting everyone up. The 50mph limit is a joke heading towards Ramsgate as no one wants to give up the right hand lane so they’re in the best place approaching the Lord of the Manor traffic lights so you have tailgating and cars travelling well over 70. Something needs to be done.
