This year’s Minster Show will take place on July 20
The annual event will be held at Minster Rec from 1pm to 5pm.
It will kick off with a fancy dress parade through the village and then feature more than 50 stalls, races for children, baby show, live music, Morris dancing, chainsaw carving and a show marquee containing craft, cookery, flowers, fruit and veg competitions.
Youngsters will be entertained by Pip the Clown and Pat the magician. Broken Seals,Village Voices Choir and Michael Appleton as Michael Buble will provide music and there will be a tug of war, mascots bar, food stalls and more.
The family fun will be £3 entry, under 5s free. Gates open 1pm, parade arrives at 1.30pm. This year it is an open theme for the parade.

All floats (vehicles) must be in Freemans Road by 12.15pm and all walking fancy dress must be in Taylor Road ( Cliffes butchers) by 12.30pm to join the parade as it passes.
The parade moves off at 1pm.
