The first gig announced for the Margate Summer Series 2025 is singer Olly Murs, with tickets going on sale next Friday (October 11).
The ‘Dance With Me Tonight’ singer will take to the Dreamland stage on Friday 15 August, with support from the double Brit Award and triple MOBO Award winning RnB artist, Lemar.
With 7 hit albums, 5 of those reaching no.1, over 2 million tour tickets sold, 7.6M monthly Spotify listeners and a combined following of more than 27M across social platforms, Olly has so far had a successful career as a singer, songwriter & TV personality.
2024 has been a busy year as Olly spent 44 dates on the road with Take That and has rounded off the summer with a run of his own headline shows.
Having just announced a 2025 arena tour, Olly will be celebrating his 15-year anniversary performing all the hits as he takes to the road with Blue.
The 40-year-old first rose to prominence after participating on the sixth series of The X Factor in 2009, where he finished as runner-up.
Following the show, Murs was signed to RCA Records and Sony Music in the UK, and Columbia Records in the United States.
From 2018 to 2023, the singer was a coach on talent show The Voice UK.
He appeared at Dreamland last year on his Marry Me tour.
