The latest tale follows Shea Pingle, a fairy who cares for bees. She wakes them up in the morning, then checks they haven’t fallen asleep on the flowers during the day. One morning her life, and that of the bees, is turned upside-down.

The launch takes place on Saturday 19th October at Westgate Galleria, Station Road, Westgate from 10am to 3pm.

There will be a free raffle ticket with every purchase and all prizes are bee-related.

Carol’s picture books include a dedication page in the front for relatives and friends to write on, together with an activity section at the back. The story pages themselves are coloured to support those with difficulties reading on white paper.

Carol’s plans for picture books end also feature  The Tales of Timmy and his Magic Toe-Beans which  is set to hit the shelves in time for Christmas.

The book will feature beautiful scenes of Broadstairs and Margate in full colour, created by local illustrator Danny Ireton aka The Ginger Illustrator. A launch date will be announced shortly.
