Man due in court over drug possession and intent to supply charges

A man has been charged after suspected class A drugs were seized in Margate.

On October 2, officers were at a property in Addington Street as part of their duties and noticed a man acting suspiciously.

They detained the man and a search led to cannabis, scales, money and mobile phones being recovered. A bag thought to contain heroin and ‘crack’ cocaine was also seized.

The man was arrested and taken into custody.

Yesterday (October 3) Ebenezer Adesina, 37, was charged with possession of class A drugs with intent to supply, possession of a class B drug and possession of criminal property.

Mr Adesina, of Castleton Road, Mitcham is due to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court today.

A 44 year old woman who was also arrested was later released without charge.
