Man charged with drink-driving following three car collision on A299 near St Nicholas-at-Wade

A man has been charged with drink-driving following a multi-vehicle crash on the A299 near St Nicholas-at-Wade yesterday (October 3).

Kent Police attended a three-car collision on the A299 London-bound at 4.53pm.

A police spokesperson said no serious injuries were reported and officers assisted with traffic management and the recovery of the vehicles involved. A man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody.

Jack Carey, 37, of Dargate Road, Whitstable, has since been charged with drink driving and bailed to appear before Margate Magistrates’ Court on 18 October.
