Ziggy’s rooftop bar and the Cinque Ports pub in Margate are back open for business

Ziggy's is back open

Ziggy’s roof top bar on Margate sea front has reopened after bosses said it had to be closed due to flooding  last month.

The bar shut on August 17 following heavy rain.

In a message on facebook the bar bosses had posted: ““Following the heavy rain we have experienced some flooding and are working hard to get this remedied as quickly as possible to ensure we can deliver the best customer experience. We apologise for the inconvenience and will re-open again very soon.”

Ziggy’s will be open today (September 1) from 5-10pm and Saturday and Sunday from noon til 10pm.

The newly renovated Cinque Ports pub  next door was also temporarily closed due to flooding.

The pub has also reopened today and will be serving food again from tomorrow.
