Margate Football Club is pleased to announce that it has added two players to its squad ahead of today’s Vanarama National League South fixture away at Concord Rangers.

Firstly The Gate would like to welcome former Aston Villa and Maidstone United defender Ben Swift to the Club. Swift who started his career at the Gallagher stadium was picked up by Villa at the age of 17 but after leaving the Midlands he joins up with former Maidstone colleague Steve Watt.

The Blues have also added Sutton United Striker Pape Gueye on a month’s loan from the National League Premier outfit.
Both players will be available to go straight into Watts squad tomorrow at the Aspect Arena as Margate look to end a run of 18 straight defeats in the League.
