Tickets for Thanet Lotto on sale now for the first draw

Thanet Lotto

Ticket sales are now live for a new community lottery launched to raise money for good causes in Thanet.

The first Thanet Community Lotto draw is on Saturday, December 9 at 8pm.

Each ticket will consist of 6 numbers and each number will be between 0 and 9. There will be a draw every Saturday night when a 6 digit winning combination will be picked.

Prizes will be given to players with tickets that match the first or last 2-6 numbers from the winning combination. Match all 6 and you win the jackpot.

Prizes are between three extra tickets for two matching numbers, £25 for 3 numbers,£250 for 4, £2,000 for 5 and £25,000 for 6 matches.

Thanet Community Lotto, an initiative from Thanet District Council, gives people the chance to win a weekly jackpot of £25,000. For every £1 ticket sold online, 50p goes directly to projects and good causes in the community.

Unlike the National Lottery, which currently gives 28p from each ticket sold, Thanet’s version also give players the opportunity to decide which cause to support.

The Lotto is free for good causes and easy to join.

To be eligible to register as a Good Cause organisations must meet the criteria below.
