The funeral of Ramsgate dad Archie Ward will be held on July 13.
Mr Ward died after being stabbed on Sunday, June 18. He collapsed in Bush Avenue following an altercation at a barbecue in St John’s Crescent.
Tragically the former Hereson student and keen footballer was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death shocked the Thanet community with many taking to social media to express their sorrow and anger at the loss.
The service will be held at Margate Crematorium at 11.30am.
Seating inside is restricted so will mostly be for family and close friends only but people are welcome to go and pay their respects.
The wake will follow at the Sir Stanley Gray in Pegwell, Ramsgate.

John Buchanan, 21, of St John’s Crescent, is charged with the murder of Mr Ward.
He has been remanded in custody. The trial has been set for January 8 with a pre-trial hearing on July 18.
