The Army bomb disposal unit is back in Cliffsend for the third time is less than a fortnight.
On June 29 a controlled explosion was carried out by the Royal Logistics Corp Explosive Ordnance Device team from Folkestone.
They dealt with the wartime bomb which had been dug up during an excavation by power cable workers.
A spokesman for the MoD said: “It was a routine disposal of conventional World War Two munitions.
Further explosions were carried out the following day and the team was back on July 2, in the area across from the former Sportsman pub, to carry out two more controlled explosions.
Today resident Matt Chinnery took photographed the team as they returned to the site once more. A controlled explosion took place at around 5pm.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was made aware of a report of a UXB (unexploded wartime munition) in Pegwell Bay Country Park, Sandwich Road, Ramsgate, and an Army bomb disposal team carried out a controlled detonation at approximately 5.15pm.”
