Meet artists, have a nose around studios and maybe buy a bit of work during the Thanet Open Studios event this month.
More than 30 artists at 20 studios will be opening to the public in Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate and Westgate every weekend this month from this Saturday (August 12)
Some are taking part for the first time this year, including potter Nigel Cunningham in Broadstairs, Anita Bates in Ramsgate and Darren Lewis in Margate.
Over the weekends of August 12/13, 19/20, 26/27/28 artists open their doors -generally between 10am and 4pm – and welcome you, showing what and how they create.
Thanet Open Studios 2017 has been funded by the artists and York Street Gallery. It has been organised this year by artists Emily Tull and Mike Samson.
Brochures are available from York Street Gallery, Ramsgate, New Kent Art Gallery, Broadstairs and eclecTic Art Gallery in Margate.
