Sarah Thorne Theatre production reveals the life and works of Noel Coward

Cowardy Custard: From let. Jane Pulford, Lydia Crosher, Liam Ferrier and Peter Barnett

An amateur production focused on the life and works of Noel Coward will be performed at the Sarah Thorne Theatre in Broadstairs.

Cowardy Custard, presented by special arrangement with Samuel French LTD, is an imaginative and innovative take on Noel Coward’s words, music and sketches, which also shows something of the man himself.

It is devised by Gerald Frow, Alan Strachan and Wendy Toye, features words and music of Noel Coward and orchestrations by Keith Amos. The play is performed by The Sarah Thorne Musical Society.

Cowardy Custard contains  classic medleys and duets and previously unpublished material, snippets of plays and dialogues, material from his autobiographies as background and even a few of his little known poems. The result is a kaleidoscopic glimpse of the Coward achievement.
