The Rotary Club of Broadstairs has presented Broadstairs Town Shed with £500.

Rotarian Alan Emby handed the cheque to administrator Debbie Meacham and members, as a contribution towards the new dust extraction system being installed at the Shed site in St Peters.

Past President John Pulford said: “We are always pleased to co-operate with the Town Shed as it is a very well-run project which brings great benefit to its members and the town.” Debbie thanked Rotary for its continued support, which is much appreciated by all the members who get so much out of coming to the Shed. Anyone interested in finding out more about the Shed and facilities on offer, can contact Debbie on 01843 867580 or 07597 349290, or visit the website at www.broadstairstownshed.org.uk.

The Rotary Club of Broadstairs is always pleased to welcome men or women interested in helping the community and at the same time enjoying fellowship with one another at the weekly meetings. Members are part of a worldwide community, of over one million like minded people, dedicated to helping the fortunate. Rotary started the Polio Vaccination programme over 30 years ago, which has been phenomenally successful in reducing the number of cases worldwide to single figures.
