Man cut free of vehicle in crash near Monkton

Emergency services are currently attending a two-car crash on the A253 between Monkton and Sarre.

Police were called at 9.38am this morning (November 29) to the collision.

Firefighters are also attending the crash. Crews were alerted just before 10am and Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service are also at the scene.

Fire crews removed the roof of one of the vehicles to release an elderly man who has been handed into the care of the ambulance service.

The road has been closed while work is ongoing to recover the vehicles.
