Emergency crews were called to a fire at Trove Court towerblock in Newcastle Hill last night.
Fire crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel and positive pressure fan to tackle the fire, which caused smoke logging on the ground and first floor stairwell.
Three fire engines were at the scene.
They were called out to the 15-storey building at 9pm yesterday (March 18). The incident was dealt with by 9.40pm.
