Popular Margate soft play centre Club World is being advertised as for sale.
The venue, whose owners won Pride in Thanet tourism awards in 2015 and 2016, is under leasehold at £15,500 per year.
It is being offered for £165,000, sold as seen, with all fixtures and fittings included and bookings for parties in place for the coming year.
Club World, which is in Marine Terrace on Margate seafront, has regular toddler group sessions, daily public play sessions and is able to cater for children’s birthday parties daily.
The venue, run by Donna and Ian Burdock, celebrated its 5th anniversary at the start of this year. The couple have scooped leisure awards for their customer service and several glowing tripadvisor reviews.
The sale advert was posted to the couple’s Club World facebook page this evening (January 15).
The building is in excess of 445m2 / 48000sqf with soft play areas spreading over 15 metres in length, an under 5’s area and an additional floor level, soft matted area for younger children with baby toys, bouncers, and padded equipment. There is also role play equipment for older children.
The building includes disabled access toilet, a fully serviced passenger lift, a 5* rated kitchen, private party room, facilities to offer additional party areas, complete disco and DJ equipment, full size bouncy castle, and more.
Offers will be considered on purchase price.
Asked why they were selling up, the couple said: “The decision for leaving is simple really. We have achieved everything and beyond everything we wanted to achieve. It’s now time to sell and enjoy some family time.”
