A paw-some day out is promised at the second Isle of Thanet RSPCA branch fun day and dog show next month.
People are invited to come along – with or without pets – to help raise money for the branch while enjoying craft stalls, a bake sale, homemade lemonade, live music, a BBQ, funfair rides, and much more.
Pooches will be able to battle it out to be named top dog at the timed scurry. There will also be a dog show and fun agility course.
Kent Fire Brigade will be at the event and visitors will also be able to relax with a cooling drink from the Pimms tent.
The money raised will go directly to helping animals at the Isle of Thanet RSPCA branch, including helping to pay for veterinary bills and day to day costs, amongst other things. Every penny is vitally important as the branch is self-funded.
The event is being held at Jungle Jims, inside Quex Park, on Sunday, August 20 from 11am to 5pm. Admission is £2 adults, £1 kids, toddlers and babies free.
