Kent Police has reissued an appeal for witnesses after a woman was found unconscious in Ramsgate.
Officers say they would particularly like to speak to a man who was seen to get into a taxi which already had two passengers at around 4.15am at the petrol station in Hereson Road.
It was reported that a woman in her 20s was found in Hereson Road, near to the corner of St David’s Road, at about 4.20am on Sunday 2 July by four members of the public who saw her from their car.
They took the woman to a local hospital where she was checked over.
No injuries were reported and the woman is no longer in hospital but officers are trying to establish the circumstances of the incident and determine whether or not any offences have been committed.
Detective Constable Sam Culpin said: “We would like to thank everyone who has come forward so far. Anyone who has not yet spoken to police can still get in contact.
“In particular we would like to speak to a man who was seen to get into a taxi which already had two passengers – a man and a woman – at around 4.15am at a petrol station in Hereson Road. He got a lift to the Vale Square area.
“We believe he could be a potential witness in the area that night who may have valuable information which could assist our enquiries.”
Anyone with information or who witnessed anything in the area is asked to contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting ZY/28836/17 or Kent Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
