Police investigation into spate of graffiti damage in Birchington

The 'tags' have appeared in areas across the village

Kent Police received a report that graffiti was spray-painted across wheelie bins and other property in Minnis Road between 6pm on 25 August and 6am on 26 August.

Inspector Lara Connor said: “Our officers are making enquiries in the area to establish the extent of the damage, and urge any residents who received criminal damage on their property along the road and have not yet reported it, to contact them with details.

“Graffiti might not appear to be a serious crime to some but it is anti-social and we appreciate the detrimental impact it can have in an area for residents.”
