Police continue appeal for witnesses to Margate robbery

Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a robbery in Margate.

A man had a mobile phone and wallet stolen in Union Row on Saturday, May 20.

Marcus Turner, 31, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery the following day.

Turner was remanded in custody by Medway magistrates yesterday (May 22) and is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 19 June 2017.

A 28-year-old woman from Margate was also arrested in connection with the incident and has been released pending further enquiries.
