Police appeal following Broadstairs crash where driver left the scene

Police are appealing for witnesses to a crash in Broadstairs on Monday (May 1) where one of the drivers left the scene.

A black Honda motorbike and a grey car are reported to have been involved in the collision  at the Beacon Road junction with Reading Street Road at around 8am.

Officers attended the scene, along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service.

A woman suffered minor injuries. The woman, in her 20s, was riding the motorcycle in the direction of Convent Road when the collision took place. The driver of the grey car had left the scene before police officers could speak to him.

Investigating officer, Police Constable Chris Radley, said: “We would really like to speak to the driver of the grey car to establish the circumstances of this incident and anyone else who may have information that can help this investigation.’”
