Man taken to hospital after being hit by car in Margate

A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Margate.

Kent Police was called to a crash involving two cars and the man, believed to be a postal worker, in King Street, Margate, at 4.16pm today (March 29).

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Officers are at the scene along with Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service. The pedestrian has received injuries and is being taken to hospital.”

The man is believed to have suffered a broken arm.

The road is currently closed whilst the emergency services are on scene. Enquiries into the collision are ongoing.
