Looping the Loop festival returns – and has this offer for The Isle of Thanet News readers

Looping The Loop returns with its Spring festival this April.

Events will run from April 23-May 1 at venues across the isle.

It is the eighth season of festivals which are produced with Battersea Arts Centre.

Pop-up performances and opportunities to get involved will be on offer as well as local talent and internationally acclaimed visiting artists who will entertain, inspire and engage through physical theatre, live music, comedy, immersive theatre, magical outdoor events and free activities across Ramsgate, Margate and Broadstairs.

Early Bird tickets are available for performances including Bucket List at Cliftonville Community Centre in St Paul’s Road on April 28 and 29 at 8pm. Doors open at 7pm for pre-show drinks and nibbles.

It tells  the story of one Mexican woman’s fight for justice.

When her mother is murdered for protesting corporate and governmental corruption, Milagros finds herself with only a bloodstained list of those responsible. Determined to make them pay, Milagros embarks on a passionate quest for justice, no matter the cost.

Using physical storytelling, live instrumental music and song; multi-award winning Theatre Ad Infinitum unfolds a story about love, loss and revenge.

There is also a Post Show Talk on Friday 28th April. The performance is for those aged 14 and over.
