A celebration of The Great American Songbook is coming to the stage in Birchington.
I’ve Got Gershwin includes a host of popular songs by composers such as The Gershwin’s, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Kurt Weill and many more.
It is presented by Gordon Clarkson and a talented cast comprising Stacy Young, Tiffany Hemmings and Swing singer Frank Tucker. Providing excellent live musical support are The Paul Stewart Sound.
The show is at Birchington Centre for a special matinee on Thursday, September 20 at 2.30pm.
Among the songs featured are: ‘Someone to watch over me’, ‘Fascinating Rhythm’, ‘Mack the Knife’, ‘Beyond the Sea’, ‘A Foggy Day’ and many more.
