Fancy a different sort of adventure? Explore the Powell-Cotton Museum after dark!
The adults only ‘Museum Late’ event invites you to release your inner child in a hands-on gallery, get creative with craft activities, play giant Jenga and maybe even enjoy a cocktail or two whilst listening to some great music from local band, ‘Duvet’.
‘Museum Late has a Pacific theme to celebrate the launch of new exhibition ‘Island Stories’ showcasing the museum’s rarely seen collection of objects from the Pacific Islands – one of the few parts of the world Percy Powell-Cotton never explored himself.
Pacific themed activities will include a ‘make your own barkcloth’ craft corner, ‘on the beach’ dressing up for a selfie at the photo booth and even the odd palm tree!
The after-hours event will be taking place on 27 April from 7-10.30 pm.
Tickets are priced at £10 per adult (over 18s only). Group booking discounts are available.
