Inspirations Writers’ Group ready to launch Orange anthology

Inspirations Writers' Group

What do a pumpkin, a fox and a goldfish have in common? They all feature in stories from the authors at Inspirations Writers’ Group.

The group has prepared its second anthology, entitled ‘Orange’, which will be officially launched on Saturday, November 25 at The Old Kent Market, Margate, at 10.30am.

Every story or poem in the book has been written by a local writer and contains something orange.  Everyone is welcome at the launch, where you can meet the authors and view their work.

Copies will be available for purchase on the day at a cost £5, along with copies of the group’s first anthology ‘Red’, published at the beginning of the year. The book will be available on Kindle, i-Books and other eBook platforms in the near future.

Inspirations Writers group meets on the fourth Saturday of every month, in Westgate library. All writers are welcome, whether previously published or not. The group has members who write poetry, fiction in all genres, and scripts. They support each other, cheering successes and offering feedback to help each other reach their writing potential.

It is the only writers group in this part of Kent to be a member of The National Association of Writers Groups. It was founded by local author Carol Salter to be a source of inspiration and support to local writers, and the group is constantly growing and evolving.
