Free family fun day and lunch to be held at Hartsdown Academy

Family fun at Hartsdown

A free family fun day and lunch will be held at Hartsdown Academy on December 28.

Pupils in years 5 and 6 at Garlinge Primary School, Cliftonville Primary School ,Drapers Mill Primary School,    Salmestone Primary School and Northdown Primary School and year 7 at Hartsdown Academy, have received invites to the event.

The doors open at 11am and fun include a tell your best joke competition by county councillor Barry Lewis, sports taster sessions including boxercise, handball and dodgeball  by Andy Morris from  Sport NRG and fun craft activities .

Toddler fun will be organized by children centre staff and there will also be   sessions to make winter flower arrangements.

Families will receive a going home present and a kit to make a delicious soup from Sharon Goodyer from Our Kitchen in Thanet.

Live music will be provided by John King

The family lunch will be made by Independent Catering and there will be raffle prizes with family fun prize. There will also be signing sessions from Natasha Hobbins of Families Learn How To Sign

The event has been organised by Hartsdown Academy, Independent Catering , Orbit Housing and Our Kitchen.
