Fire crews called to incident in Westbrook

Fire crews have been called to an incident  in Westbrook.

Crews were called at 11am today (June 16) to a report of a shed and tree alight.

Two engines attended the scene. Crews used a high pressured hose reel and breathing equipment while they dealt with the incident.

Neighbours have reported hearing an ‘explosion’ at the site but this has not been confirmed by the fire service. Details will be updated on their log when the crews return to the station.

The fire was out by noon.
