A car has been written off following a collision in Ramsgate last night.

Emergency services were called to The Paragon after a collision involving a taxi and a Subaru.

The Subaru ended up going through the fence at a property in The Paragon and the taxi also suffered damage. Witnesses report the taxi had pulled out of Addington Street just before the incident took place.

Two people are reported to have been taken to hospital to be checked over.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 10.24pm on Friday 14 July to a report of a collision involving two vehicles on The Paragon, Ramsgate.

“Officers attended along with Secamb and two people were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries as a precaution. No arrests were made.”
