Emergency services called to ‘welfare concern’ report in Westgate

Emergency services have been called to Westgate.

Police, ambulance and fire crews are on the scene in Beach Rise.

KFRS was called by police to attend the scene at 2.12pm

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 1.47pm due to concern for the welfare of a man who could not be contacted.

“Officers located the man at an address in Westgate-on-Sea, where they remain with other emergency services personnel from Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service.”

No criminal offences or suspicious circumstances have been reported. Police say they are currently unable to release details regarding the man’s condition.
