Fire crews were called to a blaze in a private block of garages opposite Cobbs Place, Margate today (March 24).
Firefighters were called at 5.45pm. They used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet and main jet to deal with the fire. Three engines attended.
Nearby Fort Road, Margate was closed at both ends during the incident.
Crews remain at the scene of the derelict building to damp down the site.
