Police have released an e-fit after a teenager was robbed by a man claiming to be a police officer.

The incident happened in Chatham Passage, Ramsgate, at about 2.30pm on Sunday 16 April.

It was reported that the suspect ordered the 17-year-old victim to empty his pockets before telling him they would be returned at the police station.

He then walked the youngster to Cavendish Street via Chatham Street, Chapel Place and Meeting Street before giving him his belongings back apart from £60 cash.

The suspect is described as being in his late 30s, about 5ft 10in with dark hair and eyes, unshaven and with a grey or black tooth. He was wearing light jeans, a black bomber jacket and black Adidas trainers.
