Two people have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after officers from the Kent Police Rural Task Force stopped a car in Cottington Link Road, Cliffsend,yesterday (June 21).
Officers seized what are believed to be class A and class B drugs from a black BMW at around 7.40pm.
A 30-year-old man from Ramsgate and a 23-year-old man from Margate were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs and remain in police custody.
Following further enquiries officers have also seized more than £7,000 in cash, four mobile phones and a BB gun from a property in Margate.
