A wall has been demolished after a car plowed into it in Ramsgate in the early hours of this morning (April 30).

The crash happened in Newington Road, St Lawrence, at a house close to the Party Shop.

A car at the property was also written off in the incident.

Witnesses say the driver of the white VW appeared to be racing against another car when they went off the road.

One man fled the scene on foot and the other motorist drove off. No bystanders were injured although it is believed there was blood inside the abandoned vehicle.
