Fire crews have attended a kitchen fire in Newington.
Emergency services were called at 10.40am to a house in Ringold Avenue.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to put out the blaze and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property. There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
The incident was dealt with by 11am.
