Fire crews have attended an incident in Margate.
Emergency services were called at 7pm tonight (July 27) to a fire in the basement of a two-storey house in Church Street.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the blaze and a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the premises. There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
The scene was made safe by 7.20pm
