Members of the British Diving Marine Life Rescue are asking people to keep a look out for an injured seal pup at Joss Bay.
The pup was spotted this morning but when BDMLR members went to the beach it was no longer there.
They say the pup looks underweight and may have an injury. It is believed it may come back out over next couple of high tides.
If seen please don’t attempt to return it to the water as it probably needs treatment. Instead call BDMLR on 01825 765546 and they will send trained medics to attend to it. Please don’t allow dogs to get too close to it.
