Appeal to find missing Chihuahua Jasmine

Jasmine went missing in Margate

An appeal is being made to help trace a tiny  Chihuahua which appears to have been taken by a man in Margate.

Owner Charlotte Silver, from Birchington, had her dog Jasmine with her at Club World on Marine Terrace when the dog escaped.

A man is then said to have been spotted holding Jasmine as he walked towards Turner Contemporary at around 1pm today (June 25).

Jasmine is one year old, no collar but she is chipped.

The Missing Dogs and Strays group is appealing for any information that might help track Jasmine down.

Member Philippa Jones posted: “She was seen by several people in the arms of a man in his 50s, with no top on. Last seen heading up Fort Hill, we hoped to the police station or PDSA however she has not been handed in and there are no further sightings despite many people on foot, car and moped searching.

” If you see her please call the police or me 07415 945826 or message  Charlotte Silver who is distraught.”
