The head falconer at Quex in Birchington is appealing for help after crooks reportedly broke into the falconry centre and stole two ferrets last night (January 7).
The thieves are thought to have got into the site sometime between 5pm last night and 9am this morning.
Head falconer Pete Hurst said: “They stole two hob (male) albino ferrets. These are working ferrets and very approachable animals but with a full killer instinct. Damage was also done in gaining access to the site.”
Pete says a red van was parked in Brunswick Road at around 9.20pm yesterday. Two men around 5 11″ were seen leaving the site with a grey box. One man was wearing light camo trousers, a dark top and a woolly hat.

A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police received a report of a theft of two male albino ferrets from commercial premises in Quex Park, Birchington between 9.10pm and 9.30pm on Sunday 7 January 2018.
