A Thanet business is sponsoring a glitzy ball for children’s charity Tree of Hope

The charity ball will be at Grosvenor Casino

A charity ball will be held at Grosvenor Casino in Westwood to raise funds for the Tree of Hope charity.

The event, being held on November 3 from 7pm, has been organised by Margate couple Matt and Gemma Bevan.

The parents-of-five are sponsoring it through their Ramsgate-based company The Recruitment People.

The ball will include a three-course meal, music, bubbly and betting chips. There will also be a charity auction.

Tickets cost £40 per head or £35 each for tables of ten or more.

The proceeds go to Kent charity Tree of Hope which helps children and young people with a disability or illness by supporting their families to raise the funds they need to pay for specialist care that is not freely available through the UK healthcare system.

The charity helps with crowdfunding and with access to corporate donations, GiftAid and potential grants from Trusts and Foundations.
