Police are investigating after a man tried to pull a woman in her 70s out of her car in Margate.
Yesterday (February 21) at about 9.30pm the woman reported that as she was driving out of a car park onto Belgrave Road, a man opened her car door and tried to pull her out.
She was able to push him away and it is believed the man ran off towards Eaton Hill. The victim was not injured and it’s believed nothing was taken.
Officers are currently reviewing any CCTV opportunities in the area but would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything or witnessed the incident.
Detectives believe it may have been a robbery attempt.
