BRIT award winning singer Rag ‘n’ Bone Man has been back in Margate this week filming a new music video.

The 39-year-old from East Sussex filmed at locations including Margate seafront, Dreamland and Reaperz Inc tattoo, piercing and barbers studio in Station Road on Wednesday (September 25).

Reaperz tattoo artist Dan Bolton said: “(He’s a) top fella, really down to earth!  He had photos with our clients and passers-by. He’s a really decent guy!

“He did pop in previously and get a tattoo and now he’s been back for a secret music video.”

It was not the first visit to Reaperz for the star, real name Rory Graham, as he dropped into the studio last year and had a Margate tattoo done before taking to the Dreamland stage for a Summer Series gig.

The singer rose to prominence under the Rag’n’Bone Man moniker in 2016 with the release of ‘Human’; showcasing a blend of traditional blues and hip hop and introducing the world to his powerfully deep baritone voice.

Having won the 2017 BRIT’s ‘British Breakthrough Act’ and receiving the BRIT’s ‘Critics’ Choice Award’ in the same year, Graham cemented his success with the record-breaking release of his 4x platinum #1 album of the same name ‘Human’ earning a further BRIT Award for ‘Best Single of the Year’, with the title track (Human) in 2018.

Since his debut album, Rag’n’Bone Man has also collaborated with international artists including Gorillaz (The Apprentice), Logic (Broken People), Calvin Harris (Giant) and Pink, who joined him on the single ‘Anywhere Away From Here’ from his  album ‘Life By Misadventure’.

His new album, What Do You Believe In?, is scheduled for release on October 18. And he will then  be touring the UK and Northern Europe.

Production for the latest video shoot in Margate was handled by Bad Bones Films.
