Bonfire night is just a few weeks to go and tickets for firework events on the isle are selling fast.

Here’s our round up of firework displays so far – let us know if you are holding an event and we will add it to the list

Friday, November 3

St Saviour’s Junior School, Elm Grove, Westgate

Annual firework display on the school playing field

Gates open from 6.30pm for 7pm display

Tickets from the school office

Minster Recreation Ground, St Mildred’s Road, Minster

6pm-8pm, Fireworks start at 7pm

Hot food and drinks, free admission

Saturday, November 4

Quex Bonfire & Firework Event UPDATE SOLD OUT

The 2017 theme is Disney, come and see Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Buzz, Woody, Jessie. Olaf, Disney princesses and others as well as some amazing fireworks.

This year the bonfire will form part of the first display and will be lit by the fireworks. There will be a fun fair, fully licensed bar, a variety of eateries serving hot and cold food and drink, DJ on stage, large gift and craft marquee offering a range of goods, jugglers and other entertainment.

Event opens- 5pm
First display- 6.15pm
Bonfire lit- 6.30pm (weather/ wind dependant)
Second display- 7.15pm (choreographed to music)

Sunday, November 5

Broadstairs Fireworks

Fireworks will light up the sky over Viking Bay.

Entertainment at the bandstand from 6pm featuring ‘This Little Girl’ with firework display at 8pm*

  • Hot and cold food on Victoria Gardnes and the bandstand cafe
  • Children’s funfair rides
  • Glow novelties

*Display timing is subject to weather conditions

The Hussar pub

219 Canterbury Road, Margate, 5pm to 8pm

Firework party. Food and Winter warming drinks. Tickets £5 adults and £3 children. Under 2 free.
