Police, including armed officers, were called to Dumpton Post Office this morning (August 3) to reports of a robbery.
Two men, reportedly armed with a knife, threatened staff and stole cash from the till.
Police were called in at 6.42am. Two men have since been arrested and are in custody.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police is investigating a report of a robbery at a post office in Ramsgate Road, Broadstairs.
“Patrols, including armed officers, were called to the premises at 6.42am on Saturday 3 August, after two men allegedly armed with a knife, threatened staff and stole cash from the till.
“The suspects left the scene on a moped and two men have since been arrested and taken into custody.”
