Police investigation after attempted break-ins at Ramsgate property

Kent Police

Police  investigating two reports of attempted burglary in Ramsgate are appealing for witnesses.

At around 2.40am today (June 18), a group of at least three people were seen climbing over a wall of a property in Truro Road.

The report follows a similar incident in which an outbuilding was broken into in at the same property at around 3.35am on Saturday 15 June.

Nothing was stolen in either incident but an investigation is underway to identify those involved.

Officers believe a white Ford Transit van and a red sports car, possibly an Alfa Romeo, which were seen in the area at those times, may be linked to the offences.

Anyone with information, or who has relevant dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage from the area at around those times, is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/100209/24.
