    • Mabey Kathy will have more joy with getting a response from the local council to clear up there stance on it . Me and my husband have sent them over 65 emails and left them loads of voice mail messages and still no reply from them .Most people that go to that part of the nudist beach are also on a certain adult website uploading x-rated videos.

      • Dawn, don’t wait for TDC to tell you and your husband where you can go nude in the area. Live your best life. If you are in the wrong place, someone will let you know 😀

I wonder if he was “exposing himself” or just putting his shorts on. ?

  2. Dawn, how do you know these “people” are on adult websites are you on those sites as well, don’t worry if you are it’s not illegal. I often swim naked in the sea, pssst don’t tell anyone Dawn.

  3. Last time I checked Indecent exposure is defined in the Sexual Offences Act 2003. It is an offence for a person to intentionally expose their genitals with the intention for someone to see them and be alarmed or distressed. This is the main indecent exposure offence. There are plenty of official places not ones family and kids are on .

    • Why wouldn’t families visit nudist beaches? There’s nothing inherently wrong with naked human bodies (we’ve all got one). I think there’s far too much fuss.
Mind you, there are some people who I’d rather *not* see naked!

  4. I fully agree with you Phylis, we have been a life long naturist family and my parents were as well we have been to naturist beaches-hotels-clubs around the world and here in the U.K.
I have never seen anything untoward or unpleasant over all those years. Naturist have nothing to hide.

  5. There is a vast difference between being a nudist, and a “Flasher”. After the Sarah Everard rape and murder by Wayne Cousins, it has been established he had exposed himself at least twice just before. I hope the police apprehend this man, because he could be very dangerous to women and girls!

    • The police are doing a patrol for tomorrow and Monday .Council will be putting up a sign on the top of the cliffs .

  6. Good morning it’s Lisa from Friends of Botany Bay and Kingsgate group .We have had ongoing issues on our beach
everyday with people walking around without there clothes on and seedy behavior ect .Thanet council have told us it’s a police matter and it feels like it’s a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt by angry parents or passerby by the clifftops .Safeguarding our children and making woman feel safe is our top priority at this time .We don’t think the matter is getting taking seriously .Check out beach on Sunday by the dunes near water pump station .

    • Hi Lisa my husband spoke to the lifeguards today and they have confirm a white male in his 50s and has been arrested and he has been flashing all week . There looking for another man at the moment with a pony tail .
