The visitors’ website for Broadstairs has been relaunched and features an interactive aerial tour of the seaside town.

The Broadstairs Tourism and Leisure Association (BTLA) has used cutting edge technology to create an easy-to-use visual website partially captured from the air by drones.

Sponsored by Broadstairs financial firm Bradnam Wealth Management, www.visitbroadstairs.co.uk enables visitors to “fly” over the coastal town virtually.

As the user travels through the air over the town, the names of accommodation providers and many of the town’s attractions appear as links. By clicking on the links, people are taken to the website of the relevant hotel, B&B, or place of interest.

As well aerial tours of Broadstairs’ seven sandy beaches, the website takes visitors through the principal streets of the town.

“The detail in these aerial tours is something we are particularly proud of,” said BTLA chairman Mike Bridges. “The quality of these amazing 360 degree pictures really show off the town at its best.

“Anyone using our website will find their way around our welcoming town and the many places to stay easily from the comfort of their armchair wherever they are. We are confident that what they see will make them want to visit Broadstairs.

“We have so much to offer with our seven sandy beaches, great restaurants and bars, wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and pockets, as well attractions to entertain visitors all year around.”
