Emergency services attend crash near Cliffsend

Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash on the A299/A256 at the Sevenscore roundabout off Hengist Way tonight (November 18)..

Police, ambulance and Kent Fire and Rescue were in attendance after a report of a two vehicle crash at 6.30pm.

One vehicle is reported to have rolled over Westbound from A256 (Lord Of The Manor Roundabouts) to A256 Richborough Way (Sevenscore roundabout) at around 6.30pm this evening (November 18).

Two people were injured in the collision.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to a report of a two-vehicle collision in Hengist Way, Ramsgate, at 6.25pm.

“Officers attended the scene, which was just after the Lord of the Manor Roundabout, where two people had been injured. Officers closed the road to assist Kent Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service.”

A Kent Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson added: “KFRS was called to Hengist Way in Ramsgate to reports of a two-vehicle crash.

“Three fire engines attended and crews made the scene safe. Two people were taken into the care of SECAmb paramedics. Kent Police also attended.”
