  1. I very often can smell people smoking drugs in Northdown road and always seeing people deal drugs down the side roads lol

It’s been like this for a long time unfortunately in Cliftonville

Also the same when walking up Margate high street

    • No idea why the police don’t raid around Churchfields/Charlotte Square/Victoria Road way-there is always the smell there & have been for decades-lots of grow houses around there clearly.

  2. He will probably get a Slap on the wrist and told not to do it again, when the only way to stop the dirty crack heads is to put them down like the rabid dogs they are.

  3. The only surprise is the police did anything.

Perhaps they should wander down Warwick Road to Surrey road and see the regular dealing. Residents know it’s a waste of time phoning the police as they make it plain they are not interested.

  4. I know Northdown Rd has its problems and that, as Trete says, drug dealers are all over Thanet. However before moving here I lived in Shropshire for many years – beautiful county, very rural, significant issues with drug-related crime. Not saying action isn’t needed in Thanet, just that this area is not uniquely blighted, not by a long chalk.
